Comprehensive Substance Use Disorder Treatment
Origins IOP offers 10 hours of recovery programming over three days per week, which includes one hour of individual therapy. Evidence-based modalities for group and individual counseling include dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and incorporate a patient-centered treatment approach.
The framework of our IOP allows therapists time to evaluate each patient, affirm or update a diagnosis, and create personalized treatment plans for long-term recovery.

Counselors Dedicated to Your Care
During your time at Origins’ Intensive Outpatient Program, you will be assigned a primary counselor who will facilitate your entire medical, psychological, social, family, and spiritual assessment process. These compassionate counselors work directly with you throughout your treatment in various groups and weekly individual sessions.

Who Is Appropriate for Origins’ IOP?
Many of the patients in our IOP have attended one of our residential treatment facilities on South Padre Island, TX, but several participants join us from other programs or through the local community. Intensive outpatient treatment through Origins is also ideal if you need help with substance use but are looking for a lower level of care. As long as you are fully detoxed, medically and psychiatrically stable, and in an active stage of change, we can help.
